Historic Ghost Tours

May through September on Friday and Saturday nights, Annapolis ghost tours take guests through the narrow streets and historic sites of the city. These tours promise to include places that have seen “unexplained phenomena” as well as a stop at old St. Anne’s cemetery. Adding to the fun, the tour guides wear old-timey attire that’s reminiscent of the Revolutionary era.

Special History Hauntings 

For a limited time, experience a Special Historic Hauntings ghost tour in Annapolis on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in October. In partnership with Historic Annapolis, this Watermark Tour will feature readings from diaries and newspapers from the early 18th century. The tour will also include a stop inside Hogshead, a historic home used as a barracks during the Revolutionary War.

Haunted Harbor Tours

If you want to get a taste of Annapolis’s spookier side, then this 90-minute walking tour is for you. Haunted Harbor Tours focus on the history of ghost investigations and strange phenomena around the downtown area of the city. Featuring eerie history lessons and meetings with “spirited residents”, this ghost tour is one of the most popular in town.

Twisted History Tavern Tour

Another fun pub crawl event by Tours & Crawls, this tour also features a few local bars. Led by a guide known as the Twisted Historian, this tour includes a night of insights into the city’s darker tales. Hear stories involving murder, mayhem, and drunk tomfoolery!
